$211K IN 75 DAYS - The Power of Flows in Email Marketing

In February 2024, Yellow Box Shoes began working with ECOM DEPARTMENT in the hopes of maximizing their email revenue. After a thorough analysis of their current email marketing performance in Mailchimp, ECOM DEPARTMENT was able to identify key areas for improvement, developing a new email marketing strategy that would lead their brand to success.

STRATEGY

ECOM DEPARTMENT’s new email strategy for Yellow Box Shoes involved migrating their 130K subscribers to Klaviyo, implementing smart segmentation, conducting strategic A/B testing, personalizing content, and most importantly- setting up a variety of automated flows. Automated flows are a vital part of email marketing, as we are able to automate communication with customers based on their actions, for example signing up for the newsletter, browsing an item on the site, or making a purchase.

OUTCOME

In just 75 days, Yellow Box Shoes generated an additional $211,000 in revenue—solely through automated email flows. Four key automations were implemented: the Welcome Series, Browse Abandonment, Added to Cart, and Abandoned Cart, with more in development and set to be live very soon. ECOM DEPARTMENT regularly meets with the Yellow Box Shoes team, sharing data-driven insights to help refine their email marketing strategies.
